Don't question, ‘ For what reason?’ as it is not our place to know.
Don't think, 'How could God?' because throughout, to me, His love He's always shown.
Don't ask, 'Why so much pain?' because when at heaven's door it will all be forgot.
And don't wonder, 'Why me?' because my response is 'Why not?'
I don't ask you to question but rather my testimony to receive.
I don't ask you to reason but in my salvation to believe.
I don't ask you to understand but my love for God to know.
I don't ask you to hold on but into God's arms to let me go.
I am so grateful for you all, for you have delighted my every day
And have faithfully walked alongside me on my God chosen way.
So I have asked the Father to hold each of you tenderly, but securely and tight,
And protect and love you, wherever you are, every day and night.
I leave this world not afraid but, instead, strong and bold
For I go to receive my heavenly prize which is far more precious than gold.
My reward is an eternity with my God, enveloped in peace and rest
As by Father, Son and Spirit I am healed, loved and caressed.
Do not mourn for long, for the pain is yours, not mine.
I have gone where I cannot be touched anymore by pain and the ravages of time.
For I am where I knew God had always destined me to be
Arriving exactly at the moment God asked, 'Come and be with me.'
Forgive me for leaving you but I could not ignore my Father's call,
But know how much I have loved you and am grateful for you, one and all.
I will be here to welcome you when you receive the call to come
And will celebrate with all in heaven as your work is finally done.
Please don't ask the wrong question and challenge God about the life He dealt to me
Because no pain or sacrifice of mine could ever equal that suffered by Him on the cross of Calvary.
Please know I go to join Him with peace and true joy in my heart
And that He goes with you, as my path from yours must now turn and depart.
